I ALMOST made it all the way through April
without photos of wet flowers..
we have been having a really nice spring,
so today when it rained I knew
I better take
some pics while I could...
cause they are so pretty wet...
come on,
we'll go see...
no umbrella necessary...
the blue bells,
of the Woody Hyacinth
the very first of the Lilacs...
Mmmmm
and the first Jacob's Ladder,
this warm dry drier spring
is putting the garden on fast forward...
rain droplets all lined up...
scattered...
impossibly puddling...
big juicy blooms
on the Tree Peony...
she is three this year
and this looks like it will be her first good show...
tiny buds on Roses...
EXCITEMENT!
a fading Tulip,
filled with water....
a bath for the fairies..
the Bridal Spirea came and went so fast...
drinking in the beauty...
Today I am joining...

What wonderful pictures Bella! I went out and tried to take a few the other day and I was so disappointed in my photography. I can't wait for my lilacs to bloom and get some lovely purple pics.
Blessings,
Gayle
Beautiful <3
The raindrops made for some beautiful pictures, Bella! :)
XO,
Jane
Hi Bella: What beautiful blooms and, although we might not like to say, the raindrops are gorgeous too. We had rain last week and I was so afraid for my lilacs but they survived..Happy Sunday..Judy
Hi Bella,
How beautiful those blooms are after a shower. I love the pictures of the raindrops on leaves. Great photography!
Gorgeous photos worthy of a gardening magazine, Bella! No....worthy of framing!!!! Just amazing!!! :)

How beautiful Bella,xx
Bella, the flowers are so beautiful covered in droplets of rain. I had a peony tree at my previous home. The blooms were always a gorgeous large lavender. Our youngest son bought the home and when we were visiting the other day I saw that it had quite a few large buds. Yours will be a thing of beauty I am sure.
Hugs,
Jann
Very nice! Your photos are amazing. Such a variety of lovelies you have in your sweet garden! It's like they are all wearing jewels.
What fabulous photos! I love the idea of the tulip being a bath for fairies. I envy you your warm dry Spring, here it's rained and rained and you would have no problem whatever taking photos of wet flowers:)
Such pretty pictures--love the rain drops! (though living in Oregon you would think I would be sick of seeing raindrops by now!)
Lovely pictures again!
Have a beautiful week.
Marian
HI Bella and oh, what a a great post! Your blooms are gorgeous and the raindrops just make them more beautiful.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Bella,
I love each and every one! You are so much further ahead then we are here in our garden.
Enjoy the beauty.
Carolyn
Bella, every single image is stunning. You are just a bit ahead of us... our Jacob's ladder is not quite budded but filling out nicely.
Every time I visit your blog, it makes me want to put on a picture hat and a hoop skirt and step back in time to a kinder, gentler age.
Beautiful shots. Send some rain down my way, willya? ;0)
And the rain our way too!
Beautiful photos, Bella. I love the Jacob's ladder and the pretty pink tulip. By the way, did I tell you how lucky you are to get a dozen DA roses for Valentine's Day?!!!
Hugs, Beth
Sweetie - can you send me some of that rain - I sure could use it. Thank you. LOL Actually it is in our forecast tomorrow.
Beautiful blue blooms. Hope you have a nice day.
You are a great photographer--the pictures are lovely! I especially like the photo of the rain drops on the Jacob's Ladder--just beautiful.
Lovely photos! I never thought to capture the flowers when wet, but will take advantage of the rain we are getting this week to get some good pics.
Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
What a special treat it was to visit your blog this week. I just love raindrops on flowers. Clap. Clapping. Still clapping. Job well done!

Wonderful photos. Love all your pretty blooms.
Wonderful photos - allow one to appreciate the smallest of things - ie a raindrop!
A lovely garden, lovingly captured, Bella! We have had quite a bit of rain over the past day or so (with more to come) but everything is just so GREEN I can hardly complain. Wishing you a lovely week.
