Today we really lucked out,
it all came together...
my Mr. had an impromptu day off...
the sky cleared
for some afternoon sun...
yes sun!
the Zephrine Drouhin Roses
are putting on the best show of their lives...
so I built a cozy nook,
under the arbor...
brought out a few pieces of my
Homer Laughin dishes...
Virginia Rose
(aka fluffy roses)
and a delicious first,
the first strawberries from the garden this year...
grabbed some mix matched silver...
Harlow Carr Roses
and Lady's Mantle for the table...
and settled in..
a view from inside...
watching the shadows
getting long across the garden...
Today I am joining,
and
Thanks for stopping by today...

Oh Bella. What a lovely spot you built under the arbor. What a perfect place to have a picnic or just read! Lovely. (By the way, I have a Homer Laughlin platter listed on eBay. Check out my eBay button on my sidebar because I think it might be the same pattern. Not sure.) Enjoy every minute of this glorious weather. Susan
You have created a perfect place to relax. Fresh strawberries are so good. I wish you a nice weekend! Zinnia
Hi Bella
Very cozy indeed and rather romantic looking. A glass of wine to have with the strawberries perhaps?
Glad you and DH could enjoy some time together in your beautiful garden.
Hugs,
Judith
