Well summer has arrived!
A little late,
here in the Northwest...
but the days have been glorious,
sunny and bright...
are you ready for a garden stroll?
April in Paris Rose
and friends...
the Lavender has burst open...
Mmmmm
the perfectly delicate
Scepter'd Isle Rose...
she has been blooming quietly for a month,
just a couple blooms at a time...
the Hummingbirds love the Russian Verbena,
It has climbed seven feet tall this year,
so far!
an upclose look
at the small blooming clusters...
Melody Parfumee Rose,
and friends...
the leaves of the bush are below,
she sent up a crazy spike
of blooms!
Bonica Rose...
the soft summery blues
of the Hydrangea...
Butterfly Weed...
and Butterfly Bush...
these are replacements
for some I lost a couple years ago...
I really saw a dip in the butterfly visits
with them gone...
a mystery solved!
while doing spring garden clean up,
I found the tag for this
my mystery rose,
of last year!
she is the Memorial Day Rose...
I am crazy for all those
ruffled petals...
Today I am joining,
and
Thanks for joining me in the garden today...

Hi Bella: I really like your garden, and I love the song "April in Paris," and now I know there is a rose to go along with it--cool! Glad you are enjoying the weather--I'm a Pacific Northwest gardener, too, and so I've been reveling in all the sunshine of late as well. Take care, and have a wonderful rest of the week!
I could linger in your gardens all day, Bella. Such beauty surrounds you. LOVE all the soft colors.
Thank you for sharing your lovely gardens with the rest of us here in blogland.

Thank you for the lovely stroll through your gardens, Bella. They are so soft and romantic. There is nothing so beautiful as a summer day here in the NorthWest. Enjoy your gardens and the summer days. xx

Bella, it's such a joy to stroll through your beautiful garden. Thank you for taking us along. Love the Memorial Day rose. I'm going to look for that one.
Happy summer.......Sarah
Thank you Bella for the stroll. My garden suffers from the heat and dry here. I water daily but the flowers seem to like the rain much better.

Yours flowers are gorgeous. I like how you vignetted them. Valerie
Thanks for the garden tour, Bella. My lavender has passed now and is bundled into ribboned bunches around the house. (But I made sure to leave a few stalks for the bees!)
