Summer Days...
when the clouds clear,
and so does your mind...
the warm days embrace you,
lulling you into daydreams...
I pick roses,
and arrange them,
nothing fancy...
just tucking the fragile blooms,
here and there...
savoring...
summers best...
"They are not long,
the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream."
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream."

Hi Bella... while I am basically a dig in the dirt sort of gardener, I do recognize the amazing beauty in your post today... your composition is amazing and photography is superb! Larry
Exquisite! Lovely images and quote, Bella.
So beautiful!
As always--so pretty! I am having a love affair with my Eden and Wildeve roses right now.
A fantastic post Bella. I wish my garden was spread with sunshine. Overhere the heavy rain makes it difficult for the roses to show there beauty. But the positive of the rain is the garden looks beautiful green.
Have a great weekend
Marijke

How pretty...my poor roses are feeling the heat now...but they will be back when it cools down.
You inspire me, Bella!
You, and your blog are one of the reasons I've fallen in love with roses....I've been planting them everywhere! I even bought some vintage rose dishes recently...and Rachel Ashwell bedding!!!! LOL.
Hugs.
Love your pretty pink roses and the poems. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Bella:
So peaceful and perfect. LOVE putting blooms in containers other than vases. You have a real talent for that!

How funny, I did a "summer days...." post today, too. I love your roses, especially the ones in the white pitcher. They look amazing and I can only imagine they smell as beautiful as they look.

O my gosh Bella, I just wrote my message to you and accidently deleted it!! Well, here goes anyway... Your roses are so breathtaking and I feel the same way you do, believe me. The poems are pure delightfulness and I Love coming to see how Bella's garden is growing... Just lovely my friend!

What a lovely blog you have! Your roses are gorgeous!
I still have one rose that's ready to bloom -- my tea rose "Garden Party". All the others have already gone by, here in New England. But it was lovely while they lasted!
