I have been busy all week,
doing springy things,
a little spring cleaning,
a little gardening,
a little finishing up of winter projects...
just all those small things
that when they pile up
keep you so busy...
I thought it was about time
I dropped by...
a quick post
to share my Snowdrops...
the weather has turned nasty,
so I filled my soup tureen with them...
straight from the garden
moss and all...
so garden fresh,
a little worm
crawled out while I took pics:-)

you know spring is but a month away!!
over the weekend,
Mike and I took a mini trip to Eastern Washington...
the terrain is entirely different
on the other side of the Cascades...
we had been wanting to see wild Big Horn Sheep...
(do you see them on the hillside?)
during the winter they bring in hay
to feeding stations...
the Elk horn in on the free hay,
there must have been eight hundred of them...

What a great idea to bring your snowdrops into the house to enjoy. Amazing photos of the sheep and elk. That would be awesome to see so many elk. Pamela
Your snowdrop pictures are dreamy. I love them in that tureen. Love that look. So pretty, and I love all the white of course. The elk and sheep are amazing. Wild adventures! Great to get out, yeah?
Oh my, those sheep are amazing! And of course I am adoring the snow drops. So ready for spring here as well Bella. Today we went to Vashon Island to a quilt show. It was a great get away with a girlfriend and just what I needed to cope with the winter gray weather.

I love that you brought your snowdrops in the house dirt and all--I should do that! My snowdrops look sad amongst all the dead plants--and the pouring rain!
I have heard of snow drops but never saw one. They are very delicate and so pretty looking :o) Have a nice weekend, Jennifer

Years ago we went to Pullman, Wa every summer, where my husband was attending WSU. I well remember the vast difference as we would travel along the river from western to eastern Wa. I definately prefer your greener, lusher enviromnent.

That is what we need, bringing snowdrops inside, for outside it is bitterly cold. Love the pictures of the landscapes with the Big Horn Sheep.

Nothing sprouting here yet. It is still under snow. Slowly melting, but I want to see something green....
Love the mountain sheep. It is an interesting landscape, and looks very foreign to me as an North Eastener.

You were over on MY side of the state, I hope you enjoyed your travels...Will snowdrops grow on the eastern desert side of the state?
My hydrangeas are moving and the apricot trees have just begun to bud...
But it is still cold, and that is good for the apples and the soft fruits, as well.
