How about a little garden stroll?
It's just a little one,
it has been a dry year here,
and I have had a garden hose in my hand
much more than a camera...
the first good rain
since before the Fourth of July fell this morning,
I think I heard the garden slurp...
and sigh...
I am looking forward to things
plumping up...
soft ruffles of roses...
the Wedgewood Rose,
nodding her sweet head...
the Mortimer Sackler Climbing Rose
reached the top of the trellis
this week...
the girls
soaking up some sun...
Iris is still a playful pup,
Daisy has become serious,
and so mature...
Iris spends a lot of time taunting her...
the late summers golden sun,
filtering through Eden Roses...
Tonight I am joining
Thanks for stopping by....

Such a pretty collection of beautiful flowers in these photos. And love the sight of the dogs romping round.
Your garden is so beautiful and colorful but I can imagine that you take care of it with all your heart. Here, it was a very dry spring and summer too, we are still watering for two or three hours the day just to keep the garden green...
Your roses look lovely, Bella, despite the lack of rain. We had rain recently, too, after quite a long dry spell and I was very relieved to hear it in the night. Your pups look like they're having such a wonderful time with each other!
Your roses still look so lovely, here it is so hot that they have stopped blooming. We will get another flush in the fall. I wish I could live in your climate it is the perfect spot to garden.
Your garden is just glorious!

Such a sunny post with lovely pink flowers, love the Wedgewood rose. But I am so glad to see these two hairy girlfriends again, enjoying life in your garden.
Roses are always beautiful! And I love loads of them like you!
Your roses are beautiful and so are the "Girls".
I only wish we would get rain, but that's not going to happen until November if we are lucky this year.
Enjoy your lovely garden as long as you can.

Squeeze the last drops out of that lovely late summer garden ! The light is so lovely and golden ! Your roses are looking good. I too love roses, especially the English roses and mine are all beginning a new flush of flowers and sulking a little in our unusual summer heat, here in the uk.
Bella! Your garden is so lovely! I wonder if you might join me for Fresh-Cut Friday?
Have a lovely weekend!
