For me,
my garden is a slice of heaven on earth...
so when I found this sweet lazy cherub,
lounging on a birdbath,
I knew I had to bring him home...
the bath is very short in stature...
and,
I may say birdbath,
but my dogs are sure this is their new
very convenient,
no bending your neck to drink,
water bowl...
the days on the calendar are passing
so quickly,
I am not ready to embrace the fall yet...
I want to pause
to enjoy,
every moment,
of these last days of summer...
contemplating roses...
floating roses,
just because...
scattering petals,
just because...
napping in the sun,
just because...
I am joining,
Show and Tell Friday at Cindy's
I hope your soaking up
these last days of summer...

I can see why you had to have that beautiful bird bath. I would have wanted it also. It looks so well with the roses in it. I know you will enjoy it for many years.
Happy Thursday

How beautiful your bird bath is Bella, especially with the lovely roses floating. I was just starting to feel that warmth of Spring and then the rain came and came and hasn't stopped, but the garden is loving it. x
Oh, Bella, this cherub is precious - absolutely a must for the garden - beautifully photographed with the roses!
Have a blessed day,
Kathy
Such a darling cherub for your garden! Your roses are still fantastic, I see. I know your head is still in summer, but I'm loving that pale pink for fall too. Lucky pups! xx
I would not be able to pass that birdbath up either. It just cheers the heart. My roses have not been doing well this year. They have some sort of disease wher the leaves and buds are shriveled and dry looking.
Bella what a beautiful birdbath. Where did you find that special birdbath. I have a cherub bird bath that I love but this one stole my heart.

Such a lovely rose and birdbath. Our dog thinks the birdbath is his exclusively and chases the birds away. Enjoy your fall.
Just beautiful! love your new cherub bird bath/ dog bowl ha ha ha. love how you capture such a romantic beautiful feel with your roses and colors and what you love!
Lovely bird bath. I wish tombstones could be birdbaths and feeders!
What a darling birdbath. I am so glad you found it. The cherub looks to be made for your lovely garden. Beautiful roses!

Refreshing post- Perfect for these last hotter than hot days of summer.
What a gorgeous post, Bella!
I can see why you had to bring home that bird bath...it's beautiful.
You did such a lovely job of photographing it with the roses.
So peaceful.

Beautiful roses and that birdbath is romantic and just dreamy.
What a darling little birdbath, Bella. I can see why you had to bring it home with you. :) As much as I love autumn's crisp cool days, I always have a hard time letting go of the long, sunny, lazy days of summer.... :)

What a beautiful addition to your garden, Bella... the angel perfectly captures the serenity of your home.
That birdbath is just gorgeous, Bella. It does make the right height for your furry friends to drink out of...lol....At least they will be blessed while they slurp with that little angel watching over them. xo Diana
