After a week of heavy fog,
the sun popped out this morning...
we popped outside too,
eager to soak up a few rays...
dry out a bit...
while the garden is pretty much
a lot of brown...
But,
there are
some swell things happening...
the Magnolia's furry catkins...
the blooms of my
New dawn Viburnum...
are still sweet,
but some have yellowed around the edges...
in my short
stroll around the garden...
the Crocus went from the tight buds in the first shot,
to these bright spots,
in a sea of brown...
Hope for an early Spring?
maybe,
but, Winter has yet to stop by for a visit...
for now I will enjoy my little taste of Spring
and I hope you have too...
Thanks for joining me on this Swell Day....

Beautiful in all stages! I love how your garden is a refection of your signature colors. Great shots of your crocus. We had a little dusting of snow this morning! Happy day!
Oh, these are just gorgeous pictures Bella! Thank you for sharing your bit of early spring there. So so pretty!
Dear Bella, your photos are always so lovely! I really admire your way with the camera. Truly enjoyed seeing the signs of spring in your garden, the crocuses are so cheerful. Warm regards,

Are you in Oregon as it sounds like we shared weather!
Beautiful photos! We are NOT having much of a winter either down here, but at least we're not having sweltering summer weather, yet.
Have a wonderful week ~ FlowerLady

Bella, the little crocus blooms in the lacy vase look so pretty. Will brighten things up considerably. My crocus haven't even broken ground yet..Happy Wednesday..Judy
beautiful blog~!
Lovely to see the flowers of Spring, we can't see the ground yet. The snow banks are dirty with bird seeds. The squirrels seem to be the clean up crew this past few days. I need to put fresh stuff out but hope they can eat up some of the spills. Loved your pictures, some great shots

Last week was bliss here, we planted primroses. I love your purple blooms!
So exciting! I love this time of year when sleeping things begin to wake again!
Blessings,
Cindy
