Happy New Week!
so many people dislike Mondays,
although I too
hate to see the weekend end...
I always view Mondays
as mini New Years Day's
a fresh start,
full of possibilities...
My Monday is off to a lovely start...
I am here to share
a little simple joy with you...
A paper fan
and a spray of roses...
the pretty paper fan
was my grandmothers...
the simply Victorian Romance
tugs my heart...
tugs my heart...
while as you know
the Roses consume my heart...
“There was something rather blousy about roses in full bloom,
something shallow and raucous,
like women with untidy hair”
Daphne du Maurier

This is just the prettiest way possible to show off this gorgeous fan! How wonderful that you can still pick luscious roses like this from your garden. We have a few ragged blooms still, but even they are beautiful in a little bouquet. Your grandmother would love her fan displayed so beautifully. hugs J.
Happy New Week to you also.
What a lovely fan to have from your grandmother. It looks so pretty with your beautiful roses.
