We had a Beautiful Day Today...
a day that had a hint of Spring in it...
the early Crocus
are a sight for sore eyes each year...
the first day
I have gotten outside to start the Spring Clean up...
And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth’s dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
~Percy Bysshe Shelley, "The Sensitive Plant"
big clumps of hyacinth
pushing upward...
Sweet Box
plain and nondescript...
smells amazing,
smells like Spring....
the scent fills the garden...
the Winter Daphne
almost open...
its another early bloomer
with amazing scent...
Snowdrops...
dazzling in the sun...
what a delight
to spend the afternoon,
in the garden
with dirty hands!
I am linking up to....
thanks for joining me...
Happy Weekend!

Just gorgeous, Bella! How lucky to have blooms this time of year. We are usually in the 20s or 30s here this time of year. We are breaking a record today-it is supposed to be in the mid 50s. Just crazy. It makes it that much harder to go back to below freezing temps in the next week. xo Diana
