Last year
I made one of these
Diamond Dust Candles...
I loved it so much
I made four more this year...
and thought maybe
you would like to make some too...
a perfect way
to add a little sparkle
to cozy winter nights...
they are beyond easy...
a perfect way to recycle
those candle jars
we all have tucked away...
I first saw this idea on Pinterest,
I have seen it done with glitter,
and it looked lovely also...
but I chose to use Diamond Dust,
which is amazingly sparkly...
the small jar of Diamond Dust
is around six dollars
and I had half left over
after making four jars...
all you need is white glue
and a paint brush...
cover all sides of the jar
with a nice thick coat of glue,
and sprinkle / pour
the Diamond Dust On...
catch the extra on a paper plate
and reuse on the next one...
I tried rolling the jar
in the Diamond Dust
and the glue will coat the Diamond Dust
and take the sparkle right out of it...
so sprinkle...
at first they are opaque...
when the glue dries
all that sparkle will look gorgeous!
now just drop in a tea light,
and your all set...
we could all use a little after Christmas Sparkle...
