Over the weekend
I took a drive into Seattle,
it's only about an hour away...
I love the feel of a big city late at night
the lights and energy are magical...
(click photos to enlarge)
The Christmas Decorations were all up
and the streets are lined with lit trees...
This giant stack of lit snowballs
is at the foot of the Space Needle...
It must have been twenty feet tall
at the base to the right you can see a car...
Here is a close up...
and since we are under the Space Needle
I thought I would show you the "Needle"
hovering over head.....
It was well named!
Kinda creepy...
The Macy's Star....
Fifth avenue is lined with luxury and designer stores...
Betsey Johnson
had a pretty silver tree with hot pink packages,
I thought it was worth a peek....
I haven't blogged in days!
I hope everyone had a wonderful vacation?
I know we had a wonderful time!
I spent my black Friday at an antique mall
and then hunted down a long sought after item
on Craig's list.
So I am working on a new project
and can't wait to finish it and share with you :-))
Today I am joining,
Susan for Outdoor Wednesday
Thanks for stopping by today!

These are gorgeous pictures, you're right, there is a certain energy you've captured here. I'm glad you had a wonderful weekend, that trip to the antique mall sounds great, and this trip was obviously a blast.
SPECTACULAR PICTURES!!! You must be SO pleased with them! I feel like I have been there, only better! So pretty to look at! Makes me want to go to the big city too. These are top notch travel shots. I missed you and wondered what you were up to. Glad you're back bearing gifts! xx JQ
Dearest Bella,
Great down town by night pictures of Seattle! Quite a change from the usual rosy things you show us. So that was exciting to tag along with you.
Glad you found a long sought after item!

Bella you took some great photos of the lights. How fun to go look at the windows of the different shops and see all the great displays for Christmas.........Julian
How beautiful I only live in a small town so the decorations dont come anywhere near how stunning the ones in your pictures do. I only live 20 minutes from Cambridge and the decorations there are beautiful, but still Seattle looks amazing
Hi Bella
Thanks for showing the glitz of Seattle. I knew you would be shopping on Black Friday - I did a little myself but didn't realize the stores here are now celebrating the same thing.
It was fine with me though, good prices and save the taxes!
Can't wait to see what you bought....
Hugs,
Judith

Hi Bella,
Beautiful pictures! I love going to the 'big city' just to see all the dazzling Christmas lights too! I live only about 15-20 minutes from Milwaukee, but I don't think many would consider Milwaukee a 'big city', ha ha!
In January I'll be going to Chicago for a weekend girl's trip! I'm excited!
Hello Beautiful, beautiful photos, very distant from what he usually does! Each with its lights and shop windows, we are excited to prepare for the beautiful Christmas time, blessings Rose marie
I love the photos of Seattle. Just lovely. Happy Outdoor Wednesday.
Dear Bella,
Seatlle looks magical with all the Christmas lights and festive shops windows. It's so different from Rotterdam. Although we have Christmas decorations as well, it's not as abundant as in Seattle.
I am looking forward to see/hear more about your project!
Enjoy your day!
Lieve groet, Madelief
Wonderful Wonderland...would love to visit Seattle...thanks for sharing, I enjoyed.

Such magical Seattle lights! I've never been there, but my husband told me a lot about the city as he was studying there for a few years.
Either this or next week, I want to go to San Francisco to see its Christmas lights and decorations.
Those lighted snowballs..marvellous
Hello SweetBella~ I was wondering where you were...and then figured you were busy! Love the tour of Seattle. I was there about 15 years ago. Love the Betsy Johnson window and the snowball tree-especially pretty from a distance! Glad you had fun and I can't wait to see your new project! Hugs- Diana
