In my opinion...
the best way to spend a Friday morning
is hitting the garage sales...
and,
I always feel like if at the end of the hunt,
my little pile,
looks like it all goes together,
I've had a good day....
today's little haul,
was perfectly pink and rosy!
a little box of vintage buttons,
mostly plastic, a few Mother of Pearl...
buttons used to be so easy to find,
this is the first box I've seen in a long time....
pretty hankies,
a must have....
I bought the platter on the bottom today,
so excited,
because I knew I already had it's twin!
when I got home I was surprised to see,
the new one was a bit plainer,
and the old one had a ruffled edge...
I really like the slight difference,
kind of a his and a hers...
the swoon of the day,
a small hand painted rose vase...
perfect with this rose doily!
I know I promised to show you last weeks finds,
and haven't forgotten!!
my big purchase was big in size,
and we are still getting it settled in...
I'll be sharing it next week...
Happy
Happy Treasure Hunting!!

You always find the most lovely things, Bella. You must have a really good eye for spotting the treasures among the trash. Love the soft sweetness of this post- xo Diana

Beautiful finds! I wish we had yard sales on Fridays here. You rarely see one. Everybody crams them into the same time period on Saturday mornings so it's rush to one, rush to another. I map them out and hit all that are in one area, then move onto the next, but it can still be tough to make them all. Can't wait to see this big item from last week! Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Leena
So many pretty things.
Merle....

Wuch wonderful treasures, Bella, and yes! they do all complement one another. The little vase looks perfect with your lovely flowers, and the buttons are so pretty. Old hankies are so nice to have and use, as well as pretty doilies. And the vintage container is adorable. Looks like you had a great day!
