October,
mid-October...
yes, it really is mid October,
how did we get here so soon?
the bite of Autumn is in the air...
sunny days,
and icy rooftops in the morning...
I thought we'd peek into the garden,
before a hard frost hits...
I am still enjoying a few
Treasured Roses...
dewy
in the morning sun...
a few Perfect Blooms...
vigorously,
trying their very best...
but,
they are
Tattered...
the spiders
are taking over the garden...
weaving
their own brand of lace...
Daisy
or as she is lovingly now called
Princess Daisy...
has claimed her throne,
a sunny spot on the back of the sofa...
Thanks for stopping by today...

It is hard to decide which is lovelier...the roses or Princess Daisy.
I'm amazed that you still have beautiful roses happening. The shot of that web is fantastic too. Your princess Daisy is adorable. I have to keep reminding myself that we are in October. Where did the year go??? xx
Oh my, what beautiful roses. They still looks gorgeous. Your garden must be truly fantastic.

Beautiful images, Bella - your roses are so lovely, even being tattered a bit. Even your spider webs are enchanting. Your little princess knows how to spend an October afternoon. Hugs xoxo

ALWAYS such lovely pictures. I truly enjoy strolling through your gardens with you. And Princess Daisy and all of her siblings ALWAYS make me smile! Thank you for sharing.
Your flowers and spiders in the garden look wonderful, but Daisy is the real Princess of home and garden.

You are so lucky to still have roses--I do have a couple too! That first photo is just gorgeous. Of course it doesn't compare to Princess Daisy--what a beauty she is!
Even as the cold approaches, your gardens are still a vision of beauty.
I like how you've captured natures lace, as well.
It's always such a pleasure visiting here.

so very pretty!
Hello dearest Bella! It's been awhile since I've been on blogger, so thought I'd drop by to say "hi" and to see what you have been up to! Your darling garden & flowers always inspire me to no end! Love every single bloom! I finally posted a blog post...I do hope it won't take me awhile to post another one.
I hope you are enjoying the autumn season. Have a wonderful evening!
XOXO's,
Jessie
Hi Bella, your roses are still so beautiful and what a great shot of the spider web. Princess Daisy looks very comfortable in her sun spot..Happy Tuesday..Judy
Your mid-October garden is so much more temperate than a New England one, Bella! Here there are only rose hips, seed heads and colorful leaves where flowers used to be. That Princess Daisy is adorable! I respect a girl who knows how to take a good nap!
