Over the weekend,
I made this little scented garland
for my kitchen window...
it all started simple enough...
I was visiting Karen's lovely blog
and in her post
she shared her beautiful nature inspired decorating...
I was smitten with her dried orange slices,
and had to make some...
her complete directions are here...
on Pinterest,
I had been saving a recipe
for these little Cinnamon Ornaments...
they are just Cinnamon, Apple Sauce and cloves...
so easy...
the house smelled divine
as they cooked...
and still smells divine,
in the kitchen window...
like sunshine on a cloudy day....
I'm joining
I always Love it when You stop by...

My girls and I made cinnamon applesauce ornaments this year, and had plenty leftover. Now I know exactly what to do with the left overs! As always you are an inspiration!

Well how darling in your kitchen window! The perfect place to smell something nice! That's a sweet cottage view too. xx
Mmmmmm! I think I can smell them from here, Bella! :) There is nothing better than cinnamon at Christmas time. Your garland is just adorable! Merry Christmas to you, my friend!

Bella, This is so charming and beautiful. Have a Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year.
Homemade and fragrant decor is lovely to have in the home any time of year.
I've made the cinnamon cutouts before and they last a long time.
Merry Christmas.

What a sweet idea, Bella! It looks so pretty in your window, and I can imagine it must fill the house with the scent of Christmas.
What a lovely garland you made Bella! Hope I will have some time this weekend to make some Christmas cakes, cookies and perhaps a garland too :-)!
Have a lovely day!

Good afternoon! I am preparing a round up of "orange peel" ideas and would like to include a picture of your garland along with a link back to your blog sometimes this month. Would this be okay? Thank you for your time! :) You have a beautiful blog!
