With a string of lovely weather
this last week...
the garden had started to wake up...
the crocus
are popping open,
tangled in with early spring weeds
and lingering fall leaves...
there are so many garden chores right now
but,
there is nothing that I would rather be doing....
if feels wonderful
to have my hands in the dirt again...
the garden rabbit
feeling shy....
the unassuming Winter Daphne
could easily be passed by
on a trip to the nursery...
unless you catch a sweet whiff,
then you will be smitten for life...

What a perfect place for your sweet bunny! Love your snowdrops! Crazy, but we are a month ahead here. The willows are leafing. Apple blossoms. Glad you're having good garden weather! xx

This just made my morning,we have so much snow and I can't even image that there are flowers waiting to come to life under it.
tu jardin esta precioso , lo tienes muy bien cuidado , besos
Just beautiful.
How very, very beautiful, Bella. It is nice to see that there is growth and Spring awakening somewhere in the country- it is still frozen here with tons of snow and more coming today- xo Diana
Hi Bella, so nice to see your garden waking up from its winter sleep. I love, love, love your crocuses, especially the pale lilac ones. I don't grow winter daphne in my garden, but I remember the fragrance from the one that my friend was growing in hers. Truly unique and wonderful! Wishing you many joyful hours tending to your garden!

Your shy little rabbit looks very happy surrounded by sweet crocus! I heard the 'peepers' last night for the first time! Your garden is coming to life in a very lovely way, Bella. It's so good to get out and play in the dirt. Enjoy your weekend. xo Karen
Your bunny is very pretty. The flowers are gorgeous

What a beautiful sight. We normally have crocus up by now too, but not this year. More snow and ice this weekend. Thanks for posting your beautiful garden.

Beautiful photos. You are so lucky to have flowers already. Usually by now we have snowdrops, but even they are afraid to poke their faces out of the frozen ground. Sooner or later I guess they'll make an appearance. Thank you for sharing yours.

How wonderful that you have so much SPRING at your home, Bella! Not so here, but soon I hope. Your flowering bulbs are so pretty. The smell of soil must be intoxicating!
