As I flip the calendar's page this evening,
I am surprised to say goodbye to September
so soon...
I am excited to be back here
with you, blogging...
I hadn't planned to take a break,
it just happened,
I needed to recharge,
slow down,
take time to dream,
take time to Smell the Roses...
From the bottom of my heart
I thank those of you who are still here to listen to my ramblings...
We have so much catching up to do!
in the Spring
I added to the garden
this pair of Strawberry Sundae Hydrangeas
and another King Edward Currant Bush...
back in May
I shared with you my plans to grow Sweet Pea's
on my wire dress form...
If you would like to see that post
it is here...
well,
I learned a little lesson...
good twine matters...
my dollar store twine rotted
before the peas reached the dress form....
still,
the wild look of the toppling Sweet Pea's
was beautiful...
and there is always next year...
Mother of Thyme
and
Armeria...
bundles
of Sweet Peas...
pure joy...
I will be back soon,
I have so much to share with you...
Thanks so much for stopping by....

Welcome back Bella. We all need a break once in a while. I would guess that you were quite busy in your garden all Summer. Did you grow your own pumpkins again? I always enjoy seeing them.
So pleased to see you back Bella.I too have been a little slow with blogging.I love your pretty garden especially the dress form. xx
Welcome back. I love reading and seeing the beautiful pictures of your garden.
Welcome back! I love sweet peas and plant them most years if I find them at the nursery. This year I planted them but seeds from morning glories from the previous year took over mid-summer. I did get several bouquets of their sweet scent to enjoy before they went to seed. Happy fall to you.
Beautiful! Your dress form lady looks like she is wearing a long ball gown. Fab photos!
Glad you are back and refreshed! Occasionally we all have to step back and review.
Nice to see you blogging again. Those sweet peas look gorgeous, I love both the courts and the scent if sweet peas.
Glad you are back again, I always enjoy your romantic pictures. The sweet peas are gorgeous also as a border of the skirt of the wire dress.
Welcome back Bella! Beautiful photo's of your garden. Love your sweet peas!

Hi Bella, Enjoy seeing your garden. I enjoy mine so much, This year we have added bee hives so we are doing our best to grow flowers that will provide them nectar throughout the season.
Jacqueline said that the sweet peas at the base of the dress form looked like a ball gown. Just what I thought - tres elegant!
Will the new huydrangeas turn pink in the fall?
regards Janine

It's been quite sometime since our last visit, we both have Italian greyhounds, how are your girls doing... We really want to add another one to our family here. Love your garden and the dress form will take on years of garden beauty.
Enjoy the seasons to come and the beauty they will inspire.

Hi Bella, it is good to see you back. To maintain your beautiful garden must take a lot of time. Time well spent it appears. Love the wire dress form in the sweet pea gown. I like that they didn't take over the whole form..Happy Weekend..Judy
