The New Year...
to begin anew,
a clean white slate...

what a beautiful clean white slate
I awoke to!
the simple beauty,
of twigs and snow...
pathways lost...
seriously...
snow is magic...
there is just no other word for it...
this time
I was able to coax Iris out into the snow,
she felt going everywhere very quickly
was the way to go...
Cosmo on the other hand believed the best things
were hidden under the snow...
Today
on this frozen first day of the New Year...
a promise.
tucked under the Camellia branches...
a Spring teaser...
