Seattle Lights...

Over the weekend
I took a drive into Seattle,
it's only about an hour away...

I love the feel of a big city late at night
the lights and energy are magical...

The Christmas Decorations were all up
and the streets are lined with lit trees...

This giant stack of lit snowballs
is at the foot of the Space Needle...

It must have been twenty feet tall
at the base to the right you can see a car...

Here is a close up...

and since we are under the Space Needle
I thought I would show you the "Needle"
hovering over head.....

It was well named!
Kinda creepy...

The Macy's Star....

Fifth avenue is lined with luxury and designer stores...

Betsey Johnson
had a pretty silver tree with hot pink packages,
I thought it was worth a peek....

I haven't blogged in days!
I hope everyone had a wonderful vacation?

I know we had a wonderful time!
I spent my black Friday at an antique mall
and then hunted down a long sought after item
 on Craig's list.

So I am working on a new project
and can't wait to finish it and share with you :-))

Today I am joining,

Thanks for stopping by today!

Last Rose of Summer...

Last week we had our first snow..

If you missed it
and would like to see my winter wonderland
while staying warm at home,
no boots required!
The links are here and here...

Even after the first snow melted
these Ballerina Roses hadn't faded....

So I had to rescue them
before round two and the deep freeze came...

A perfect spot of happy pink in the window...

To cheer even the coldest day!

The Last Rose of Summer
TIS the last rose of summer
Left blooming alone;
All her lovely companions
Are faded and gone,
No flower of her kindred,
No rosebud is nigh,
To reflect back her blushes,
To give sigh for sigh.

But,  as every gardener believes in their heart,
Next year will be even better!!

Just for fun...

(click photos to enlarge)

I think sometimes a tablescape
can have no real purpose...

It can be
 just for fun...

An excuse to play....
instead of doing the tasks that you should be doing :-)

Just a silly moment
to seen how pretty cranberries are
floating in a glass..

to enjoy
a bit of twinkle...

My plates are everyday wear
the snow I found in the garden
and the cranberries are grow in Washington...
:-)

The silliness is all in my heart..

I am sending everyone
a big hug...
and wishes for a
Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Tonight I am joining

Thanks for visiting me today!
