Hello to snow!
are you ready for snow?
we have had a light dusting of snow the last few nights,
just a teaser...
our elevation is only 180' above sea level,
so this morning we took a drive to the local hills...
this old one lane wooden bridge
in Carbanado, WA
is always beautiful..
today it was a winter wonderland...
are you dreaming of a white Christmas?
it's probably not hard to guess,
I am not a big fan of fall...
I love the brilliance of the colors,
but reds and oranges aren't on the top
of my favorite color list...
but I LOVE snow!
Hello Winter!
then there are the goodbyes,
the snow brings...
the last of the roses were gathered today...
if anyone is keeping track:-)
The David Austins were the last blooms..
Gertrude Jekyll, Harlow Carr and Scepter'd Isle...
and for anyone who is really keeping track,
Gertrude was the first and last to bloom...
(she is the pair of blooms on the bottom left)
remnants of summers blooms
at their feet...
"Good Night, Good night!
Parting is such sweet sorrow,
that I shall say good night till it be morrow."
Today I am joining...
and
Thanks for stopping by...
