Vintage Pink Buttons.

A small stack of pink dishes..
with a scattering of pink buttons.
Here they are spread out a bit...
All the intricate details,
on these tiny seemingly insignificant objects.
Each a miniature work of art.
I just love buttons...
and collect several different colors.
I keep them in jars sorted by color
in my hobby room.
I think they make a lovely display.
Someday, I will photograph them to show to you :-)
The prior life of these everyday items intrigue me...
A special dress, an apron, a baby's gown, or long johns
(I have a collection of long john buttons!)
we button them all up.
One of my favorites are glass buttons...
the facets are gorgeous!
And...
Here are a pair of porcelain roses...
not buttons just pretty in pink!

Your buttons are so pretty! I love vintage ones too, and have some pretty mother of pearl buttons that belonged to a friend's grandma. When I was a little girl, I spent playing with my mom's buttons!
Ooop! I meant to say I spent hours playing with mom's buttons!
I love buttons and mine are in vases by color too. I like how the thread is wrapped around the one button...neat idea...
