Yes it's Pink Saturday again..
time is moving so fast!
There is nothing I like more than Pink Roses
and garage sales...
(click photos to enlarge)
So.. I thought I would share a few of my latest finds :-)
A sweet and simple saucier,
with a lovely cabbage rose pattern...
A pretty vintage waste can,
because even your trash should look good :-)
I bought a whole box of vintage ladies gloves,
This petal pink pair is so sweet...
Ladies gloves are one of my favorite things to collect,
pretty gloves were always worn
at special moments and in happy times....
This so pretty rose print,
by Lola Ades.....
and a bigger print also by Lola Roes,
I will be painting the frame soon,
like I said time is flying!
See the cute plaster cherub candlestick,
holding up the frame?
He is one of a pair,
but we will have to save his showing
for a non pink day:-)
I hope you are having a Rosy Day :-)
Visit Pink Saturday for more pinkness!
I have made a correction on Lola Ades name
I should wear the readers (yuck!)
Thanks for visiting me today!

Are we twins separated at birth? No you would have to be my clone-- Anyway we posted five minutes apart! Have a great weekend! I'm ecstatic because a half hour ago I resolved a scanner problem that had me thinking blog retirement! Hate the mechanics! Very best to you--JQ
Shoot--I forgot to tell you how terrific your post is! Love the little creamer, and lovely little rose prints! What will you do with all those gloves?
Love your post. I love that Lola ROES paints a ROSE, don't you? I had a vintage trash can just like that one except it was that 1950's green. Hmmm...has me wondering now whatever happened to that? Anyway, I enjoyed your Pink Saturday Post! Diana
Hi Bella :) You found some wonderful things at the garage sales....love those sweet rose prints, and those are the most perfect shade of pink gloves, and the rose creamer and trash can are so sweet :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Pink Saturday :)
Warmest hugs, Brenda
Dearest Bella,
That is picture-perfect and exactly my choice as well; including the lovely gloves! The name Roes is for sure a Dutch last name... Do you know more about the artist? Always intriguing to find out more. The vintage waste can is lovely and so is the creamer that no doubt would double as a saucer too for some lovely dressing... Oh my!
Be happy with your treasures and I'm waiting to meet the angel...
Greetings from Georgia

Hi Bella
Well, if anyone can seek out really cool stuff from a garage sale, it's you. :-)
You are so fortunate to find lovely items with roses that you like, more gloves and everything appears to be in such good condition.
The painting so so pretty, hope you'll show it after painting the frame.
Judith
Such beautiful pink roses. I love the vintage wastebasket.
Hi Bella,
I love all the goodies you found but for some reason it is those pink gloves that really got my attention.

I wonder where you find such beautiful things. I've been to yard sales and today I even went to a flea market, but didn't find any pink roses at all. Your finds are gorgeous!
Thank you for you sweet comment. I would love to have you pop in on me for lunch or dinner ;-) But this is the drawback of blogging - one makes so many wonderful blog friends, but they all live so far away ;-(
Your glass bottles are really pretty ,I love vintage glass objects ,they are elegant and delicate.
Also your Pink Roses are lovely
Hugs

Lovely roses, all of them. They are one of my favorite flowers (I have several...er...alot).
Happy PS.
Oh Bella, the white lillies are just so beautiful. Love the silver suitcase. I have an old case in the basement. I might just paint it and see how it comes out. Thank you for a wonderful blog..
What a beautiful post. I have such a weakness for pink roses. I left a comment a couple of weeks ago but have been swamped with work so I'm catching up today. Your blog is lovely. I am now a follower but my little rosebud icon has disappeared so you will only see me following in the generic silhouette in the back of your followers. I'm looking forward to following this lovely blog.
I met Lola Ades a long time ago, 1973 in Uplan California, she was the friend of a friend and came to visit her during an art show, I remember her as a quiet and gentle soul, you would not imagine how famous she was in those days. I believe she published a few books on painting her famous roses. I can still see her sweet smile today.
It is good to see her prints in your wonderful blog today.
