Today I took a drive up North
to Snohomish, WA...
A beautiful town full of antique stores,
gorgeous Victorian homes
and one of my favorite places to shop :-)
(click photos to enlarge)
The Antique Rose Farm...
Almost as beautiful as the roses,
the farm's original massive barn...
The rich colors of roses gone to hips...
The nursery's grounds are surrounded
by lattice fences
and beds packed with rambling roses...
Then there are of course
all the gorgeous roses...
I took a lot of photos
and remember but a few names
so I will let you enjoy them quietly :-)
(Mary Rose)
I have seen so many of you
sharing your photos of the Mary Rose.
I had to bring this lovely lady home
to grace my front porch bed :-)
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend?
I am joining Today's Flowers
and
Susan at a Southern Daydreamer
Thanks for visiting me today!

Good Morning Sweet Bella! What a beautiful "tour" of the Rose Farm! It is gorgeous. I have two old, very dear friends and one of them lives in Snohomish, WA. I was lucky enough to visit her and spend a week with her several years ago. It is an awesome area. That is where I had my first Starbucks. I came home and told MyHero that we should look into starting one of the little drive-through places called Starbucks here. lol About 6 years later they showed up!
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday & that rosebush is going to look beautiful in your yard! xxoo Diana
Beautiful roses! I would really enjoy that antique shop, Bella. It looks so interesting...Christine

Gorgeous blooms!

Beautiful roses beautifully photographed.
Hi Bella
I think the lattice fences and arbours really add character to the rose farm you visited.
Although a beautiful and fragrant flower, I gave my Mary Rose away because the insects chewed it horribly each summer. Hopefully you'll have better luck in your location.
Judith
I would love visiting that place!
I hope you had passed a pretty Sunday
Hugs
enjoyed it so much another time what a canvas
Hi Bella ~
I haven't jumped ship, LOL :)) My son came home from Iraq so I've been spending time with him and taking care of my grandbabies. I am ready to get back on schedule though.

Hi Bella! Oh what beautiful roses! What a wonderful trip! What awesome photos! :) I,too, have a Mary rose which I love dearly. In the spring when it first blooms, the fragrance wafts all over the garden. It's lovely! Then, like Judith at Lavender Cottage, the bugs eat it to smithereens the rest of the season. :( I hope that you have better luck with it than I do! :)

I need to go there!! I recently tried to buy a rose at another local nursery and they hard hardly any!
So many beautiful roses! Thank you for sharing!

Hello I am a new follower from the OW. I would love a follow back at http://megankayden.blogspot.com/
How beautiful--I grew up in Marysville, WA. (just north of Snohomish) these shots remind me of home!
Beautiful roses and wonderful photos. I love that big old barn!
Hi Bella!
Beautiful pictures! Lucky you to have such a wonderful place to visit and shop. I am in total love with that old barn.
I see them from time to time in the area where I grew up (I grew up in the sticks--dairy farms everywhere!), but not so many as you'd think. Not many farms had the really old barns like that anymore. I wish I had a much bigger property, on the edge of town, so I could have a barn just like that one!!!
Wonderful stroll through the Rose gardens. Thanks for sharing your pictures.Have a blessed week. Debbie
I love your photos...so pretty. I can look at roses all day. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Bella!
What a beautiful place! What a great barn. I can just imagine how wonderful the farm smells! I especially love the white roses.
Thank you for the tour of the Antique Rose Farm!
