Here it is late winter,
and spring can't come fast enough...
(click photos to enlarge)
My bulbs are up,
some are blooming....
It's all looking good....
Then Mother Nature
proves she is not done yet,
and turns my garden into a big snowglobe...
several perfect pristine inches...
So today
I thought it was time to begin to build my own
snow free snowglobe...
That is the joy of cloches,
an empty space to build your very own little world...
A world where the birds are singing...
A world under glass
climate controlled by me :-)
I hope you have found your bit of spring today?
I am joining...

Yay spring and your charming cloche. I have put your blog on my roll so as to keep up with your posts efficiently. hugs♥olive
Oh, so beautiful...love the sweet spring vignette you created with your cloche. I think we're ALL ready for spring...good for you taking matters into your own hands so beautifully!

This is so pretty. We are awaiting spring here but there's another blizzard on the way tomorrow - so we continue to wait, probably for another month or more. Thanks for sharing your glimpse of spring and I hope your snow melts soon.
How cute, Bella! Are your sweet little birds pie birds? I have always wanted to collect them. The "snowless snow globe" you created is breathtaking. I can't wait for spring!!!
How cute and springness Bella..Hugs and smiles Gloria
your birdies look like the ones that will soon make their nest on my front door wreath! then i will know it is spring!
I love the birds, and I really like the one in your header. Your blog is so pretty.
Cheers,

That is just so cute! Spring would be nice but we are expecting another big storm tomorrow night.

Hi Bella
Baby birds in a nest say spring to me and yours are really sweet. I'm glad they don't have to endure any snow under their dome of protection.
Like Carolyn, we're expecting a storm again...enough already!
Hugs,
Judith
Bella, your pie birds are just beautiful, I've never seen the double pink ones before:@)
Oh sweet...and such a fresh and happy display - love it!

What a pretty display. What cute chickies. And I love the touches of baby's breath. Oh, come on spring!
Your tall cloche makes such a pretty display for your cute little birds! The thumbnail makes them look like the real thing! We've had such mild weather that I have to keep reminding myself that it's still FEB! How's the floor coming along? xx
Love the chicks in the cloche-- sorry about more snow. Spring will be here soon for all of us.
I never realized that pie birds look like hungry little birdies! Cute!!
Although it is not quite spring yet, I woke to the sound of birds singing in my trees. I was so thrilled by all the promise their songs bring.
It was very Spring like here yesterday but if it wasn't it would feel like Spring after seeing your lovely creations.
You have so much style, it's always a delight to stop by. Have you got a job doing what you love? If not I can't imagine why you haven't been snapped up. You have a truly beautiful home & heart. I love what you do.
love Dawn xx

How perfect, Bella! I enjoy looking at your delightful Spring-globe. You always take beautiful photos.
I know how much all you snow-bound gals are looking forward to warmer weather, so I've made a tribute to that in my post today. I invite you to come by and visit. It might make you feel a bit warmer.
Have a joyous weekend,
Marianne
Those little birdies are SO charmingly unique!
I just adore those baby birds! The birds are building nests in my birdhouses right now. I'm from South Carolina and we've had some nice weather for the past two weeks. Bulbs blooming, trees about to bloom, etc. Ah, spring!
There is someone out there stealing posts from blogs and yours is one of them. Check this out http://planning-garden.blogspot.com/2011/02/first-spring-planter.html?utm_source=BP_recent. From what I see there are tons of different blogs stolen from. I've noticed posts from other bloggers here but forgot who they belonged to.
Oh Bella...what a beautiful post! I always enjoy my vists here at your lovely rose cottage! Those little birds are so sweet and look absolutely charming under the cloche! You have such a creative eye and flair for romantic decor!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda

Are those pie birds in the cloche? Oh my goodness, if they are, I've never seen pink ones before! We got more snow last night, so I totally understand your need for a snow-free zone!
