Soft Green...

I have set my table in a combination of,
Spring and Saint Patricks Day,

I wanted to use soft fresh colors...

I took the leaf out of my oval dining table,

just for something different,

I haven't done it and years, and change is good....usually :-)

I can't believe how small it became,

My husband laughed when he saw it!

So cozy it is for awhile, anyway..

The stemware is depression glass Pink Swirl...

I made clusters of  tiny bouquets,

In votive cups..

using bits of hyacinths from the garden.

 I love the smell of hyacinth:-)

and just these little bits made the dining room smell fantastic!

Yeah Spring !!!

The berry bowls are vintage Edwin M Knowles,

I am not sure of the pattern name.

I stacked the berry bowl on a couple cream colored plates,

I just bought the set with the basket weave pattern at Marshalls..

they are called Cottage,  and they were a steal!

The Ruffle Rimmed plate is also a Edwin M Knowles plate,

in the pattern Spring Bouquet,  my favorite plates:-)

  I used them a last month in a tablescape post..

I thought for Saint Patricks Day,

I would share with you,

a couple pieces of Belleek Irish Porcelain,

My sweet husband bought me,

many years ago,

and a random mug :-)

This is a vintage Belleek Thistle Vase,

It is so delicate..

Here is a close up of the thistle leaves and petals,

they are all hand applied.

This is a newer piece,

it was the first gift my husband ever bought me :-)

 it's the Belleek butterfly salad bowl.

Here is the random mug...

It came from a garage sale forever ago,

it has no marks,

I have just always thought it looked very Irish.

I love the ruffled lip.

Easter Tree....

I always do a Tabletop Easter Tree,

I usualy use a little stick tree.

This year at Ben Franklin Crafts

I found this happy spring tree...

with wire branches and velvet leaves.

yes...  I love velvet!

I wrapped paper forget-me-nots..

around some of the branch tips for color.

Tucked in a little bird,

because whats a tree without a bird?

I have a small collection,

of vintage style glass ornaments..

like this baby chick,

sitting in his eggshell....

This rabbit,

he always looks like he is flying to me :-)

This little chick in a basket....

This little nest,

I tucked in a clutch of eggs, and a feather,

and hung it from sheer ribbons...

A small bouquet of paper roses..

tops it off.
