I have had this cute little wire planter
floating around in the garden shed...
(click photos to enlarge)
Today was the day to finally plant it!
When I bought my garden statue
it was packed with burlap,
So I have a bunch of it laying around,
Just waiting for a project.
I cut a piece big enough to line the planter,
and notched the corners
to remove some bulk.
I tucked the burlap into place.
I had to put potting soil in as I went.. to hold the sides up,
so dirty fingers and no photos, sorry.
I folded the top edge in,
to keep the edge line clean.
Tucked in a few pretty Pink Geraniums...
Cute!
The background flowers are Jacobs Ladder,
they smell like grape juice:-)
Love the chippy paint on the wire...
Happy Pink Saturday!
Have A Great Weekend!

Hi Bella and thanks for dropping by my garden blog to say hello!
I don't think poor Dottie Duck would fool the slugs, haha! I can't bring myself to harm anything so I put up with all kinds of little creatures but thankfully slugs are not one of them! Uhhh maybe I should keep my fingers crossed as the summer isn't over yet...
By the way I love the wire planter, it is perfect with the geraniums in it!

Yeah, this is another great look for your garden! I've seen that you have tons more garden decorating stuff your way (of course)than we ever see here. If we could only get YOUR moisture and OUR sunshine together we'd have it down! But where would we be? Oh yeah, California! We'll have to meet half way at Olga's! haha Jacqueline
I love it..the combination of burlap and white chippy is PERFECT..and of course pink!
You create a beautiful centerpiece!
Happy Pink Saturday!

I love stuff like this! This one in particular has such a nice shape. That was a great idea to use burlap with it too! It looks fantastic!
Oh my sweetie this is just too cute! I think the burlap is absolutely the perfect touch! I have been so busy with the kids lately I have not been able to visit as much but as always your blog is beautiful!

Hi Bella,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your planter and the idea of using the burlap. I love geraniums. I have a large planter on my front porch and it is filled with geraniums and ivy.
Sandy

I love the planter. The burlap was a great idea. So cute
Happy Pink Saturday.
Very rustic looking Bella. I think I might have just placed the pots inside of the burlap instead of planting the geraniums right into the planter. Good use of the burlap though, you're so crafty and imaginative.
