All good things must come to an end,
thunder and pouring rain reappeared today.

I know I keep showing my Gertrude Jekyll
but with our cool wet English style weather,
the English Lady is just as happy as she can be:-)
The Snow Bell Tree is blooming
and dripping wet...
Do you see the little spider
hiding under the umbrella of the flower?
This pretty pink rose grows on a double arbor
with a built in bench.
I will show you the whole arbor
when it's dry enough to bring out the cushions:-)
The rose is thornless,
a Zephirine Drouhin
The first bloom on the Clematis...

From flowers to rust...
a rusty iron fleur on my little bird house,
look at the sun trying to peak through....
I love the detail of this white iron table base,
it's just starting to rust along the edges:-)

Nice to see your lovelies again today! I clicked to see the poor little spider keeping out of the rain! Good thing you have your flowers to keep you cheery. I had a laugh at your comment about your Great Aunt in NM--that's exactly how it is! haha! Thanks for visiting--JQ

Beautiful flowers. And I really like the rusty iron fleur; it looks so magnificent.
I'm glad you liked the soup. Thank God, the earthquake didn't get to us. Thank you for asking :-)
tired of the rain too but it does make for beautiful photos with all those clinging raindrops, you have beautiful roses!

Very beautiful flowers, Bella. And I know what you mean about the rain, I was just writing about it on my blog as well. It just keeps on falling this year, doesn't it? But the flowers are loving it so far.
Hope you have a beautiful day in spite of all the dark clouds and the soggy weather.

Oh yeah... I grew up just east of San Francisco mainly in the CCC area. We moved a lot!! Martinez, Benicia, Concord, Antioch, Brentwood, Hayward, Lake Tahoe (miss that very much), and then to the Houston area. Yes, I have true blue gypsy blood running through my veins! (Not the bad ones though ;)
Hi Bella,
Lovely blossoms. I've been a fan of Gertrude Jekyll's garden designs - glad to see she got a rose named after her!
Amanda

Lots of beauty to be found in your garden! And I like your style of photography, giving us little peaks at everything. My favorite today is the spider and her flower umbrella!
Happy White Wednesday!
