It's time once again for Pink Saturday,
and my favorite pinks this time of the year
are in the garden...
So... off we go
(click photos to enlarge)
Sweet Verbena up against a rusty bed frame,
I like the contrast of flowers and rust :-)
The Queen Elizabeth Rose hedge I planted is starting to bloom
even though they are only a couple feet tall.
The Queen Elisabeth on the patio is nine feet tall!
I can't wait till the hedge is that tall!
Another rose from the hedge...
They were both so pretty
I thought I would share both:-)
Here come the Fox Gloves...
The Fox Glove up close,
the hairs on the throat are amazing!
One of the White Hollyhocks
I shared with you a few days ago.
Today I thought we would look up close
at the pink streaked center,
Do you see all that pollen?
and the Pink Hollyhocks,
Tall and cheery by the gazebo.
For more pink fun visit
Thanks for joining me today!

Hi Bella, You have some very beautiful flowers in your garden, and I especially love your gorgeous roses. And too, the lovely Fox Glove....I planted a few in my landscaping about 3 or so weeks ago, and one plant has it's blooms, a pretty soft purple :) I'm thinking of planting a few more next spring, as I really love the flowers they have.
Have a great weekend, and a Happy Pink Saturday!!
Warmest hugs, Brenda
Love..Love ..Love the Foxglove! Happy PINK weekend Bella!

Oh, those a so beautiful. Love the pink roses. Have a wonderful weekend.
DEAR BELLA,
BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, PRETTY, DELIGHTFUL...EVERY WORD I CAN THINK OF DESCRIBES YOUR STUNNING QUEEN ELIZABETH ROSES AND I LOVE YOUR HOLLYHOCKS...THEY ARE THE ONE THING I SEEM TO BE UNABLE TO GROW AND IT IS THE ONE THING I WANT THE MOST. MOTHER ALWAYS HAS HOLLYHOCKS AND EVERY TIME I SEE A HOLLYHOCK I THINK ABOUT HOW SHE ALWAYS MADE ME HOLLYHOCK DOLLS.
HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.

Oh, and there is your beautiful porch!
Thank you, Bella, for signing up to be a follower. I've, actually been a follower of yours for a while, now, but have been remaining a shy wallflower.
The porch on Rose Arbour is, indeed, wondrous! It truly is another room. It's very sheltered and very much outdoors. The gingerbread spindles and flowers make it very fair. Although you can't see it, it does follow the whole front of the porch and, then, wrap around with a little gazebo effect at the corner. Coming from California, I didn't know what the "front porch" was all about. Now, I'm a believer. The first year, we had Queen Elizabeth roses on the arbour but, it's too shady and the winters, too hard. I'm so glad to see yours - all of your garden photos have been glorious this season!
Love, Katy Noelle
Good morning Bella! You garden must give you a natural high. It must be such a pleasure to stroll out and see what's opened up every day! You posted your pink hollyhocks and I'm going to have to come back to see them because my FIREFOX server drops a lot of pictures on my PC--crazy! So I'll go back in with INTERNET EXPLORER! But foxgloves are one of my long time fantasy flowers from all my childhood storybooks! They seemed so exotic to me! Are they fussy to grow? I love them in Pink! Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden again! JQ
Pink and Pretty :)

Your flowers are Gorgeous!! I love the pinks!
It might be time to add a few more things to the garden after seeing your beautiful plants!
Thank you for your visit and comment on my blog! New follower here!
Beautiful pinks Bella and every time you show your hollyhocks I'm thinking about them for next year. So many times I've seen them covered with rust and it put me off but now I'm having a change of heart. Too bad we can't exchange seeds across the border.
I finally went to a garage sale listed in the paper a couple of streets over but no Victorian inspiration there - everything was Ikea and modern. :-)

Love your photos!!!
Happy Pink Saturday!
