that has been flitting around the house...

from The Graphics Fairy!
Of course Birdie Darling may be hungry,
so a little bundle of Poppy seed pods sits in the corner...
He does look interested already!
Of course any caged bird would want a lofty tower
overlooking the garden...
A perch covered in soft moss
and dried roses, makes it all the better :-)
A pretty bow on top is like the icing on the cake!

Lovely bird cage...
Sorry but my head is not into writing as today Pieter will have open heart surgery. Such a tragedy for having a heart attack. Our best friend went to the airport to pick up our friends from The Netherlands as we/I couldn't go... All day at the hospitals, he got transferred to the big city for a better cardiologist. Let's hope things will work out. Tonight I will now more, around noon is his surgery of approx. 4 hrs.
Life can change in a blink!
Our garden will loose a dedicated caretaker, we must now ask for help...

Your bird cage is gorgeous!! I saw that you live in Puyallup. I grew up in Washington state and have such fond memories of going to the Puyallup fair. I loved the scones they sold there. I wonder if they still do?
