Oh Bella! Your flowers are so very beautiful! It would be hard to pick just one but I do love the Gertrude Jekyll and those sweet peas are lovely too. Wish I could see it in person...or that they made smellavision via the computer....oh...never mind...that might not be such a good option in some cases...but your garden? I love the Queen Elizabeth rose...I used to have one many years ago at a house I lived in for awhile.

I've got to get back into my gardens to do some fall chores - don't want to be caught with an early freeze like a few years ago - my rain barrel froze solid and cracked.

I think where ever you are in Washington is the place to be to grow anything!! Your gardens are stunning and it's September for crying out loud!! Here in Kansas the humidity is still so high and things are curling up and drying. Mums are the items to take the spring/summer beauties place. I just can't believe how beautiful everything still is. You are so talented and good at your gardening. Just love to look at all your pictures!

This reminds me SO of my old garden... Had to move from my huge garden some years back, an all of my pictures are gone due to hardware crash ... You are so lucky to have this beautiful place! Wonderful pic's!

Dear Bella,
Your garden is a joy to look at. All those pinks! There is still so much in bloom. In my garden it's only the Sedum, Cosmeas and Zinnias that have flowers. The other plants are already dissapearing. It won't be long before it's really fall. I try to go to our garden as often as possible, but the weather is horrible in Holland (high winds & rain).
Hopefully it's better in your part of the US.

Oh, I so miss my gardens! Thank you for the virtual walk in yours! I just got married in March and moved into a house my husband bought 10 years ago -- but he did almost no gardening, so it's going to be a few seasons before mine are "photgraphable". Thank you for sharing yours :-)
