I had planned
to take you into the garden today.....
Snow is in the forecast
and I wanted to share the little spring blooms
before they were buried...
(click photos to enlarge)
But...
It is gloomy and rainy...
the Hellebore's usually droopy heads,
are pointing firmly downward...
even with a little propping up
they are not up to par...
So I brought a pair of pink blooms inside
to share instead...
besides, it's much warmer in here :-)
they are too pretty not to have their
moment in the sun...
I am joining
and
Thanks for visiting me today!

Bella, those are so gorgeous. I love hellebores, thanks for showing yours.
Love the soft pink color. So pretty!
Nice photos Bella... Hellabores are beautiful and such a reflection of spring..
Sweet and soft looking. I know you are tired of snow...but for me it seems funny to have anything blooming and then be expecting snow. Diana
We are still buried in snow here.. It is warming to see nature coming to life via your beautiful garden...xo HHL
Lovely simple delicate flower. I love it.

Those flowers are awesome. So pretty and feminine.
Hi Bella
Kind of gloomy here too and your pretty hellebores are just what I need for a pick-me-up. Aren't the details on the petals a marvel of nature? Almost like a runway marked for pollinators.
Hugs,
Judith
I think Hellebores are such a beautiful and extraordinary plant! Yours are very pretty!
Thank you for sharing, spring must be around the corner.

Bella, I dearly love Hellobore's and am told that we can grow them here. I have never tried growing them because I felt that we really don't get enough chilling hours here in N FL. Your photos are just gorgeous and have inspired me to try planting them next year. I posted today some of my first daffodil blooms. I was so excited to see them open.

Bella, you take some of the most beautiful photographs. Your pink Hellebores are lovely.
But even a garden on a rainy day can be a delight to behold - and you have truly captured that.
Thank you for letting us into your beautiful world of flowers and linens and joy.
Enjoy the day,
Marianne

Hi Bella, you have a lovely blog and I like the pictures of your Hellebore, it will be a shame if they are lost to the snow.

Bella,
I'm a first time visitor to your blog. Oh how I love the photo's! What a lovely blog. And, BTW, I grew up as a child in Bellingham from age 2 - 11 years of age. Many years ago, but, I can still close my eyes and envision the gardens of both my grandmother and aunt. I invite you to visit me at: www.summerwalkdesigns.com I've enjoyed my visit and will be back.

Beautiful, beautiful! What a lovely blog you have (my first visit here, via Today's Flowers which I just rejoined after 18 months' absence.) I didn't realize that Hellebore was so lovely! What a pleasure it must be to you when these start blooming. Thanks for sharing your lovely, lovely photos.
I love those hellebores! Just divine!
Bella,
these are delightful and so beautifully presented as well. So often less is more purely because we appreciate it so so much more and pay attention to each detain. A summer garden full of flowers is of course lovely but do we appreciate each single flower the way it deserves when we are surrounded by a multitude?
