We have been enjoying a bit of spring in the air
and I am feeling springy :-)
A little sunshine and color
do so much to cheer my soul...
Wanna look around the garden?
(click photos to enlarge)
The Crocus are so happy this year...
last year when I snapped photos here
there were only six flowers by my bunnies nose...
If you would like to see last years crocus blooms
and you can see my first garden mosaic...
purple and blue dominate my spring garden,
then in summer the pinks take over...
The Hyacinths are just beginning to open...
To me they are the fragrance of spring,
strong and heady...
I shared the local
Daffodil farms with you last week
if you missed it and wanna see a working flower farm click here...
I thought you would enjoy seeing some in bloom:-)
The Daffodil's by the rock wall have a straight trumpet,
I like these ruffled ones better...
If you know me
then you know I can't resist bringing flowers in...
I made a little bouquet in an old footed butter dish...
Floating a Camellia...
I tucked in a few sprigs of Winter Daphne...
If your climate allows for them
you should try them.
They are evergreen and early to bloom
but, best of all they smell incredible!
They perfume the whole garden
and a little sprig will perfume a room...
I hope you are feeling springy too:-)
I am joining,
and
Thanks for stopping by...

Oh, Bella - i love it that your crocus's really took off. I planted a ton of crocus bulbs "here & there" last fall - & only one flower per bulb i planted last year is coming up "here & there" right now....so you are saying next year i could have much more scattered? So excited about that!!!
Hi Bella! Oh, how beautiful your crocuses are! Such a sweet little flower. This is really a very pretty post! :) Thanks for sharing your springness.

Thank you for sharing your Spring flowers today. I needed it so badly! Our snow is finally melting but we are a long way from having flowers blooming. I loved the domed butter dish as a vase..I have four of them and never thought to use them this way.
What gorgeous flowers... we are currently getting into autumn/winter weather now here in Australia! Will be thinking of these pretty flowers for the spring season to come!
Such beauties! Yellow and purple are two of my favorite colors for spring gardens. So glad you joined us for Simple Pleasures today.
So beautiful Bella! Wish we had some of that pretty here, but alas, still winter. Oh well, something to look forward to!

Hello, Bella,
The flowers are wonderful! The crocus look so pretty and I can imagine Easter eggs nestled within. The daffodils are lovely, so sunny and fun. Your bouquet is lovely...I love flowers that give out aromatic scents. I've never seen Winter Daphne before. I'll have to keep my eyes opened for them.
Have a Happy day with a pot o' gold on top,
Marianne
It is so nice to feel springy ! Thanks for sharing all your spring beauties.
What beautiful pictures! I am drooling over these and waiting for my own to happen. We still in snow and it will be a bit yet before we get to see them. But I can't wait. *grin*
I loved getting to see your spring time garden thank you for sharing.
Blessings!

Gorgeous garden! I enjoy seeing how early the flowers come up in other parts of the country. There isn't even a bud her yet. But soon.... Blessings <3 Paula
Bella I love your blues. I love hyancinths. Have a nice weekend.
Hi Bella
Indeed I am, feeling springy too. Low 50's today and saw my first robin.
Soon my spring bulbs will be out and I can share mine too.
Love the bunny hiding in the crocuses.

How beautiful and I can just smell them...and I want to pick them to bring them indoors to enjoy...now I must be off to find some for myself.

Beautiful pictures of your beautiful garden! Thank you for sharing! Happy Spring to you!
LOVE all that purple and yellow. That is such a beautiful combination!
I love, love, love all your Spring flowers!
Springy? Yes, but my geographic area say's not yet! Tomorrow should be a day to celebrate the temps climbing to 60! Then back to the 40's during the weekend! New England has a temperment of a wicked toad! I need to shovel snow off my garden space. Maybe I will see a sign that spring will soon come to us!
Beautiful Crocus..
~Shirley
