Over the weekend
I did a little shopping at a new local antique store
and took a day trip to Mount Rainer...
I thought I would shared some randomness
from each....
(click photos to enlarge)
I picked up these little felt acorns
at the new shop...
the tops are real acorn tops...
I thought the would be so fun for white vignettes
in the fall...
On the trip to Mount Rainer we saw snow
but I thought everyone has seen enough of that lately
so I didn't take any pictures of that....
ha ha :-)
I never see a stand of Birch trees in the forest
without thinking of Bev Doolittle's paintings...
Do you see the deer?
I loved these little white wild flowers,
I have no idea what they are....
but they made made a beautiful ground cover
on the forest floor...
our weather has been beautiful today
and I have been busy in the garden,
so much to do!
I will be be back tomorrow with
some pretty pics :-)
Thanks for stopping by...

I love your acorns, they are adorable! We just moved to Washington State from our home state of Michigan (for hubby's job), and are looking forward to seeing all of the gorgeous scenery!!

Bella, those felt acorns are so cute-they will be perfect for the Fall!! Your trip to Mt. Ranier was beautiful. I think those white little flowers are oxalis, atleast that is what they look like.
Hi Bella, what adorable little acorns, and such beautiful photo's..... and yes I did see the sweet little deer!
Blessings~~~ Daphne
Those little felt acorns are super sweet. Wish I knew what that white flower is-don't think I've seen it! Have a great day!

Those little acorns are adorable! And yes, I saw the deer even before reading, where you ask about seeing it :)
Hope your week is going wonderfully ~ It's to be near 80 here is Michigan today; Whoot! Whoot!!
Warmest hugs, Brenda
I also thought it might be oxalis. I have a pink oxalis that is a weed to me and very difficult to eradicate. Every little bitty piece of root/bulb can grow a new plant. Grrr. Lovely but invasive. Your photos's are georgeous. We lived in Brier Wa. for a year and a half, durring our Navy years. We loved it up there.
First the ACORNS YUM! very cute and I can imagine I will be seeing these again on here for sure. Your dear was very well hidden but I did see him before I enlarged the photo ;0) lovely photos
Love Dawn xx
These acorns are so cute! Perfect for fall. I did see the cute little deer!

Beautiful photos! I love the ones of the forest. I'm thinking it's time for me to take a day trip too; I'm so tired of staying at home.
The acorns are so cute! That does look like Oxalis or Wood Sorrel. I have it growing under a cedar tree and it's just blooming. It hasn't been invasive in my yard and loves the shade.
Krásný blog!!!

Love the acorns. I've made them but mine were not as cute! The little bell flowers are oxalis, one of my favorites. Sorry to be so late at commenting...thanks to blogger!
Happy WW anyway!
