A Bouquet for the Weekend...

(click photos to enlarge)

I love the simple joy of gathering flowers...

to build a bouquet for the weekend...

It just makes me happy!

I picked up a canvas drop cloth to make a tablecloth,
something with lots of raw edged ruffles...

twenty dollars for a nine by twelve footer....

I learned the cloth has seams running both ways,
so I am trying to decide,
whether to embrace the seams,
or try to cut around them....

so for today the tablecloth puddles....

the bouquet is in this fun little planter box...

with tin ceiling sides...

pink Ballerina Roses...

the green buds of the Oak Leaf Hydrangea...

and a variety of blue and lavender Hydrangeas...

newly acquired pink glass candlesticks...

crystal bling included...

sweet summer blooms....

wishing everyone a happy weekend!

today I will be joining...
and

Thanks for joining me today....

Exquisite. You have talked me into it. This weekend the ballerina roses get pruned to bring inside...

The bouquet is gorgeous, but I really like it paired with the pink candleholders. I haven't jumped into the dropcloth craze yet because I know those seams would drive me nuts. Love the look though.

Oh Bella, I love your planter with the ceiling tins. I was looking at those at a lumber yard recently. I picked one up and thought of all the things you could do with it. They were $16.95 a piece. I love how fun that looks for your pretty flowers. Thanks for linking it up at HSH!
