Today, Mike and I went to the Lavender Festival
in Sequim, Wa.
It was the first year we have ever gone,
and boy were we surprised how busy it was!
I am not really a person for big crowds,
I wanted a quieter experience...
(click photos to enlarge)
So we found this picture perfect family farm..
Martha Lane Lavender Farm :-)
They were so gracious...
we even enjoyed a cup of Lavender Lemonade
in their so sweet gazebo!
Vivid color all around!
A view down the rows..
This Lavender is Folgate.
The family is building this new Victorian style home...
Can you imagine waking up to this view?
With the fragrance wafting in your windows :-)
Pleasant dreams for sure!
It was a u-cut farm...
My pretty bundles..
Yes... I found a rose :-)
Roses and Lavender are a gorgeous pairing!
Field of Purple...
It is a beautiful thing!
Today I am joining...
A place to share flowers from around the world
I am also joining the Tablescaper
for Summer Sundays!
Join in the fun!
Thanks for visiting me today!

I just put up your Field of Purple photo as my desktop background. Gorgeous!
How stunnting!!! I can just imagine the smell. Wouldn't that make for the most beautiful pictures with someone standing in the middle of that spectacular lavendar, maybe in a bridal gown. Your photos are fabulous.
Oh my!!! What a lovely place to visit and to live. I just have to start that lavender bed I've been planing for years now...maybe I'll get off my butt and get it start.
What a beautiful place to visit. I can only imagine what the air must of smelled like. Just glorious.

That is so beautiful! Has to make you feel good just to look at!
Happy Summer Sunday!
Such gorgeous pictures, it must have been a wonderful visit, I'm sure. Lavendar lemonade sounds divine. And I do love that pairing of the rose with lavendar, it seems like a natural grouping, doesn't it.
How beautiful those lavender fields are. I would love to visit a place like that. Better yet I would love to live there.
What a dream come true to live among those fields! What an enjoyable day you must have had--and no people messing up your photos! Ha! Lovely, lovely! JQ
How wonderful! The scent must be amazing and you are so right - lavender and roses are perfect partners.
how beautiful to see something this lovely in person!
WOW, gorgeous fields of lavender! Your photos are awesome. I feel the same way about crowds. Have a great week!
I can already see how beautiful it is with these amazing photographs, and I only wish I could smell that lavender. My all time favorite scent. I am always buying soaps, oils, talcum powder, lotions. I am with you on the crowds. I am not really one for big crowds.
An English Girl Rambles
The scent must have been overpowering! Beautiful shots, all of them.
Wow!!! That is sooooo beautiful! Can you imagine being surrounded by all that beautiful and fragrant laveder?? They didn't by chance give out a recipe for Lavender Lemonade did they???? ;-)
Fields of lavender....how perfect. Did the farm have the Lavender Cookbook in which every single recipe has lavender in some form as an ingredient?
Bella, and all of your wonderful bloggers!! Thank You for all the nice comments about our small farm. We intend to keep it low key and peaceful for all who come to visit.
Again thank you for visiting and hope to see you again.
Random, but from your Lavendar sugar post...must make. I've got a pound of organic lavendar waiting for something! Can't wait to make some sugar cookies!
