A quick peak around the garden today...
(click photos to enlarge)Here is my Lady of the Garden..
this year the Hollyhocks are more prevalent
than the foxgloves of years past...
Not many flowers say cottage style more to me than Hollyhocks..
Fever Few spreads itself freely among the flower beds,
here it has paired up with a very chippy green pot...
We haven't visited the veggie garden,
we should peak in there for some whites too!
The plain Jane white flowers of the strawberry
promise sweet summery treats...
an elegant flower tops the onion...
and this so delicate bloom on the bolting Cilantro,
tells of it's pending metamorphosis into Coriander seeds.
Today's parties include...
with Kathleen at Faded Charm
with Susan at a Southern Daydreamer
and..
Garden Bloggers Bloom Day July 2010
better late than never :-)
Come join in the beauty:-)
Thanks for visiting me today!

Just back from cruising in the Vette and thought I'd see what you're up to. The strawberries are finished here but I'd love to pluck those 2 ripe ones from your patch.
I've never grown cilantro and find the white flowers so delicate and lacy.
I like the colour of the hollyhock, that would look good in my moon garden.

Your garden is so very pretty.
Happy WW!

It's all so beautiful! We had all of those blooming months ago in Dallas, until the heat took over :) so enjoyable to see yours and have a nice reminder!
Cheers, Andrea
Gotta agree with you about the hollyhocks! do you have other colors? I've seen them growing out of the sidewalks here--we always have a couple of spindly ones. Maybe they're getting TOO MUCH water?------------naw! Lovely, lovely, as per usual. Jacqueline
Your garden is beautiful! each time I visit I am inspired...HHL

What are YOUR towels like? I mean what's embroidered on them? They're really best in new condition. You need to show your Pink hollyhocks--have I missed them? or did I forget? My favorites are bright coral pink!Q
Wonderful blog! You have inspired me to do hollyhocks next year!

Good morning Bella
Your white hoolyhocks are a colour I have never seen. My small garden has red and dark pink and my Mother always had some under the front window when I was growing up. Love them! Have a great day..

You certainly have a true cottage garden! The hollyhocks are just gorgeous, and I had no idea that not only does cilantro taste good, but it also has the sweetest little flowers too. I need to plant that next year!

Your garden whites are gorgeous. I would give anything to have a garden with all of those beautiful blooms. But, the deer eat the plants before they can even bud.
Rhonda
