When I recently found this white birdcage...
and on another day this lovely bridal veil...
I instantly drew inspiration from this whimsical delight
my friend Jacqueline
at Cabin and Cottage created...
I had to make my own fanciful birdcage!
I tucked my iron garden bird inside...
tied wisps of Sweet Woodruff above the door...
and set the cage up on the mantle...
where birdie could enjoy some soft sparkling light...
and draped the veil so gently around her new home...
the satin hem created these gorgeous swirls...
she seems so peaceful :-)
Join me tonight in wishing Kathleen
A HAPPY 100th
and I am joining...
and
Thanks for stopping by today :-)

Bella-What a beautiful white visage! Love it-What a great cage! xxoo Diana
Hi Bella, your little house beautiful white bird, with the veil and the dim light, a touch inspiring, Greetings, Rose Marie
This is very pretty Bella. Thanks for your comment on my sink dilema. I appreciate it so much. We thought about an apartment size DW but they really aren't big enough but a standard size will fit to the right of the sink and that's why the sink cab will be 30" and the sink smaller as well. I really think it will be a sink and a half for that spot. Thanks again. Blessings. Pamela
We love birdcages! I love this style of cage. I have one but not as big and not white. I love what you've done with it! But your photos are wonderful and dreamy! So sweet to see my shop cage pictured. It's all we have of her now! Thanks a bunch! I've got a seat on the patio for you! Maybe you could get a tan! :o) xx
P.S. Happy WW!
Dear Bella, you have been playing around your so romantic home with all the beauties of your garden which is so beautiful at this time, though you are having stil lots of rain and mud (while over here no one single drop at all, much needed) your flowers do look pretty and healthy and beautiful of course.

Love what you've done with your birdcage; so romantic :) Aren't these old vintage birdcages fabulous! I have 3...2 white, and 1 pink (of course, lol) ~ they give one's home such a wonderful cottage feel. Have a great rest of the week!
Warmest hugs, Brenda
Very nice and you captured the beauty of it all in your pictures just perfectly.
Soooo soft and romantic, Bella! Love the idea of the veil around it! :)

Hi Bella
You have the best imagination for repurposing things - and have created such a dreamy vignette.

So sweet!! :)
If I were a birdie and stuck in a cage..this is the one I would pick! Lovely!
What a beautiful White Wednesday post! I am inspired by your birdcage... now I'll be on the lookout for one that I can use to "try" to recreate your whimsical look! Thanks for stopping by my blog :))
So pretty. I love it so much I may have to copy your idea. Recently my mom bought a birdcage, but doesn't like it. I have a bird like that. I think a pairing might be in order. Have a great weekend!
