It seems,
I talk about the weather quite a bit on my blog...
I think all gardeners think about the weather a lot...
(click photos to enlarge)
One of the things I have learned from blogging,
is how quickly the seasons change
in other parts of the country and world...
in February when my garden starts to come alive,
lots of people are surprised to see blooms so early...
but it won't be long before someone will say
"our blank finished blooming a month ago"..
without extreme temperatures in either direction
we seem to just crawl along...
Primroses are still blooming around the garden...
the happy faces of Pansies will last most of the year...
Daffodils are just winding up here...
the wild Bleeding Hearts are just beginning to unfurl...
Mount Tacoma Tulips in White...
and in Pink
are just ending their pretty show...
The English Daisy are rampant this year...
last June when we put in the fountain in the courtyard
we bought tiny Koi to live there for the summer
In the fall they moved to the big pond,
you can see one of the little ones here
swimming with the "big fish" ....
Bluebells are everywhere...
and so are Dandelions...
so pretty / so much trouble!!
haha...
Today I am joining...
and
Wishing you a sunny day...

Gorgeous flowers in your garden. Love the pansies.
Everything looks so pretty and bright at your house!
Hi Bella, pretty close to the source and the garden is truly lovely and your beautiful flowers! You are right, the seasons pass "flying" and sooner than we realize, often go unnoticed the time where everything flourishes, Greetings, Rose Marie
Look's very pretty Bella! Have some fun in the garden.....Julian
So pretty, Bella. Your are such a talented gardener and photographer. thanks for sharing your talents with us!
Incredibly gorgeous, Bella. We are just having our daffodils and tulips blooming in full force now. It will be a bit of time before our gardens look as lovely as yours do. Though, I think you have one of the most beautiful gardens I've seen.
Not sure what else to say other than that made me feel good when I read it and stared at the flower pics. Damn I love this stuff! Thanks again for sharing.
Lovely pictures today! L
Bella, what gorgeous flowers you have!! Love the koi pond!!
Bella- I am always just enchanted when I come here! Love your koi pond...well, love your whole place, actually! Hugs-Diana

Dear Bella,
What can be said about the Dandelions except in the picture you posted it looks so beautiful and now I feel sad. I have been digging under their roots the last few days to be rid of such a beauty. Why do I do that?
Lovely gardens--romantic and cozy--I enjoyed your posting several times!
Bella - so pretty! you are so lucky to have a pond....i'd love to go out & sit by it and watch the fishies! What is the flower that looks like a daisy (in one of the first pics?) so cute! xoox, tracie
I love your garden and all its beauty. It is kind of fun seeing when other regions enjoy their flowers. Hope you're having a wonderful week :O)
Your garden is gorgeous.

You have such beautiful flowers in your garden Bella you must work so very hard on it (I feel disgraced I have roses & blubells thats it) oh Ive a lot to learn but I keep my beady eye on what you are doing for inspiration
I love your garden!
I understand you, I don't like watching TV, but I always listen to the weather broadcast to plan my weekend work in the garden.
Have a nice day!
Love from Spain
Calling by from Cottage Flora Thursday, like you I enjoy seeing the different stages our gardens are at around the world. Weather is something the whole world is obsessed with, especially the extremes we seem to be getting recently.
gorgeous....flowers are like His laughter to me....
You do seem to have nice long growing seasons! Everything is just beautiful Bella! Well, maybe not the dandelions, I'm having a hard time embracing mine:@)
Absolutely beautiful!
blessings..Trish
You have some exotic things in your garden like the wild bleeding heart that I've never seen. And your tulips are unusual. I grow the dandelions though! ;)
It is all so pretty. Your koi pond is wonderful...do you have any problem with pedators? I have a horrible time with raccoons in my pond. And, what beautiful Bluebells ~ just lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.
Gorgeous pond. Those are some big Koi. Stunning tulips. Lots of pretties in your yard. Have a nice weekend.
Weather is a big mind consuming issue when you garden. Your gardens and pond are just beautiful.
Bella, your garden is a delight...so beautiful and enchanting - it's a joy to 'stroll' through. For some reason your pansies struck me as very lively, pretty, ageless girls beaming in their pretty summery old-fashioned dresses.
Koi are beautifully graceful!
Enjoy the day,
Marianne
Bella, What a beautiful garden you have !!! your pictures are great !
Even those blooms that are finishing up are beautiful. It is 100 degrees here and we've had so many dust storms that eveyrthing is dusty and drying up. Hard to flowers fresh around here. Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
Beautiful photos of your flowers.
All this talk about flowers and gardens I'm reading on blogs is making me homesick for my "old" house where I could play in my flower beds and gardens.
Enjoy.
Hugs,
Cindy
Oh how gorgeous!
What beauties! Thanks for joining Simple Pleasures.
Your garden is so pretty. I especially love your english daisies.
Hi Bella,
I especially love that first shot-I look forward to my Spanish bluebells spreading like yours!
Don't worry i talk about the weather a lot too.
Carolyn
Such a beautiful Garden...we are waiting for spring (it doesn't seem to be here !)...let alone warm weather...Our Cherry Blossoms are finishing but we will have lily of the valley soon! Our Lilacs will not be out for mothers day!...Such a pretty blog!
Your garden is simply beautiful and a wonderful treat to visit. I know exactly what you mean about reading blogs from distant (and even not so very distant) places and enjoying their different blooms.
What a gorgeous garden and I just loved the bluebells! We talk about the weather a lot here in Oregon only because we can't believe how many days of rain we have had this Spring...yuck! :-) Thanks so much for linking up all of this loveliness to Inspiration Friday this week!
Vanessa
