The Girls...
These are really German half dolls,
made of porcelain...
they are unusual, because instead of molded hair,
they have mohair wigs.
And...
they are wearing only their corsets,
and their hands are on their bosoms...
so yes... I renamed them
Floozie dolls :-)
This one is my favorite...
the bigger the hair the better!
Here they are lined up...
like the Rockettes...
minus the mile long showgirl legs :-)
Don't you love the attitude,
on the second doll from the fronts face?
Today I am joining Cindy at My Romantic Home
for SHOW and TELL FRIDAY!
Thanks for stopping by,

They are great. I love how you have them lined up like the Rockettes! I wanted to be a rockette when I was a teenager!
Great collection.
I have never seen or heard of those before. They are unusual and what a great collection you have.
LOL! Oh the hair! These gals definitely look like they've been around the block! (In the red light district wearing four-inch heels and a mini-skirt!!!) I'm new to blogging, I sure hope you'll check out my blog!

Hi Bella, You have a great collection of half dolls! And the fact that they still have their updoos is cool. Those are a great find. I think im turning green... Julian
Love your collection...lucky girl!!
They are so cute and love the hair. Maybe they could just sing for us. Nothing like female voices in harmony.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

Sweet little floozies! They all have a look on their faces that their corsets are too tight. Ha!

These are SO fun! I have been trying to find some of these half dolls. every time I bid on one on ebay they get away from me....I will keep trying! I can see one of these as a pincushion with a french cotton skirt with lots of broderie anglaise lace! I have never seen them with mohair wigs, either! Still working on my blog connection....*grrrrrrr....
hearts,
Betsy
