Ha! My 10 year old daughter and I took a walk today and she picked me a dandelion bouquet:) I still love them...
They surely are here as well...but your lovely photos make tthm so desireable! Maybe I should give up the fight and just let the pretty yellow things thrive!!

It's a pity that dandelions are considered a weed. The leaves are great in a salad and the flowers and seedhead are as pretty as many flowers that aren't on the weed list.
I remember as a kid, kicking that small ball of seeds to see them float away everywhere.

Weeds are unappreciated, some have very beautiful flowers and medincial properties. Great mosaic.
I just wrote an article for my local Horticulture Society on how the lowely dandelion is a source of nourishment for the bees in the spring and one of the ten most important nectar and pollen sources for honeybees. We seem to overlook that sometimes weeds have their benefits too. Valerie
Dandelions really are a useful plant - dandelion wine, dandelion greens for salads... They're great, except in the flower beds!

I have more weeds and dandelions than ever before. They have got to go. I have sprayed, but I will probably have to dig most of them up. Ugh!!Great mosaic weeds and all.
Oh yes! I can relate. Weeded some this weekend but barely made a dent. I guess the weeds liked all the rain we have had this year as much as the plants!
