Yesterday, My husband and I went on a day trip
to the Tulip Festival in La Conner, Washington.
It's just a couple of hours north of my home.
It is mostly a car trip,
there are hundreds of acres of tulip and daffodil fields
to see!
Not all the tulips are Pink...
but I am joining Pink Saturday,
so thats mostly what I'm showing you
and besides.. they are also my favorite:-)
Rows of pink tulips as far as the eye can see...
It was a really ugly weather day...
I wish the sky had been blue.
This is at RoozenGaarde...
A Beautiful Display garden in Mount Vernon.
RoozenGaarde had 3 acres of display gardens,
all stunningly beautiful!
They had 1/4 million bulbs planted!
You can visit their website at http://www.tulips.com/
While we toured the downtown area, I snapped a few pics..
The towns are loaded with beautiful old houses.
I loved this giant pink crabapple tree in full bloom.
I loved the house... it was for sale too!
and this sweet pink house!
This is my first time joining Pink Saturday
last week LV from Thoughts From Meme's Corner
was kind enough to introduce me to the group!
Dont forget to check in and see what she is showing today!
Pleasec Stop in and Visit..
Beverly at How Sweet The Sound

Thanks for stopping by,

I love your post today. The pink tulips and the gardens are just gorgeous. I cannot even imagine seeing a field of tulips as this. It must have been so breathtaking to see it in real.
I love the pink house. How gorgeous it is. Now I had to sit for awhile on that bench in the one garden as it was just to beautiful to pass up the chance to stop and smell. So beautiful. Thank you for taking me on this beautiful tour of these gardens. I so enjoyed myself.

Welcome. Beverly@How Sweet The Sound
This is where it all started for me Bella. Yes with Beverly from PS. That was a year and a half ago. I haven't looked back.
I just returned from meeting some of these wonderful PS ladies. Jeanne rom Backyard Neighbour, Beverly's BFF, CC, you haven't met her yet, she's with Catherine de the cups, and Debbie from Confessions of a Plate Addict, Sheila, Mrs. Magpie from The Quintessential Magpie hosted a very special Pink Birthday Party for me March 20th in St. Augustine. I've started the trip from beginning to end, I'm in the middle right now LOL
La Conner is actually one of my favourite places to be when those tulips pop out into those fields. When my daughter was 5, we used to take her there. Bunnies by the Bay was our fave little store. She's now 21! My boys enjoyed running around in them. We used to live in Vancouver, B.C. so kind of like your neighbour. Also loved the little dutch town by our border. Oh so many great memories.
So that's my sharing this morning with you Bella.
Had to come and tell you all this, why I'm not sure, but I like you and I don't even know you yet.
Have a great weekend
Love Claudie
